Happy Hello!

There is nothing more simplistic than a clear sky. This simple photo is accented by the tip edge of our very own Communications building, the morning sun creating a satisfying ombre effect on the pale blue of the sky.
Welcome to my blog, this post is going to be detailing the various types of composition and elements towards photography. Photography is something I have so much fun doing, whether it be a carefully calculated shot or simply a a quick flick of my friends and I having fun. Below are examples of the photography elements: contrast between subject matter, simplicity, framing, rule of thirds, and shape.
Contrast Between Subject Matter
Though there are many colors in this photo, I found beautiful in this simplicity of this flowers. Students walk past the bustling orange blooms everyday, which have such an interesting contrast between the warm hues of the flowers and the cool tones green leaves.
Simplicity

Framing
This is, quite literally, a frame, framing small photographs off special moments throughout the year. Beyond that, the polaroids' white boarder frame the small printed pictures.
Rule of Thirds
This photograph of one of my dear friends has been cropped and edited to fit all correct rules of thirds. Using the guidance found through the 14 Composition Techniques article,
The model is centered directly in the middle, within the first three boxes, the space between her legs and her torso equitable to the spacing between the top of the photograph and the swish of her hair.
